A new company is has created a vegan meal delivery service, VegReady. These meals are delivered in reusable pizza boxes and arrive ready to eat, no need to cook, defrost or even refrigerate. The meals are pasteurized and shelf stable so they can be eaten anytime and stored at room temperature.
These meals are available through delivery only and not sold in stores. The reason for this is the company wants to form a direct relationship with customers and get a better understanding of customers individual nutritional needs. Removing the retailer in the middle allows for this personal experience.
VegReady next plans to work with doctors to offer custom meals created to meet your specific health needs and taste preferences. They are also partnering with a DNA analysis firm called 23andme, so your meals can be matched to your individual DNA makeup.
